Vadym Skibitskyi: Now russia Has About 950 Missiles

April 2, 2024

Vadym Skibitskyi, a representative of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, spoke about the current stockpile of russian long-range missiles in a commentary for RBC-Ukraine.

“According to our estimates, russia currently has about 950 high-precision missiles of operational-strategic and strategic levels with a range of over 350 kilometres. We see a tendency that they try to keep their reserves at a level of no less than 900 missiles,” Vadym Skibitskyi said.

According to him, in April this year, russia plans to produce about 40 Kh-101 missiles.

“We predict that the russians will be able to conduct several more mass attacks (2-3, specifically mass ones), and then will have to take another pause to accumulate missiles and ‘shahed’ drones. However, separate local shelling may continue during this time,” said Vadym Skibitskyi.

He also described the situation with russian ‘’kalibr’ cruise missiles, which the aggressor has hardly used since the autumn of 2023.

“The aggressor is accumulating reserves of 3M-14 ‘kalibr’ cruise missiles and has at least 260 units at their disposal. Moreover, they plan to produce 30 such missiles in April of this year,” DIU representative noted.

In addition, he reminded that russia modernizes its ‘onyx’ anti-ship missiles.

“As for the fast missiles flying from the southern direction, it is currently difficult to determine whether they are ‘zircon’ missiles or modernized ‘onyx’ missiles,” said Vadym Skibitskyi, adding that russia has 440 units of ordinary ‘onyxes’ in stock.
