Undeclared war untied by the northern neighbor in the East of Ukraine hit hard at whole population of our state. However, the most vulnerable group of any war – are the children.

From beginning of holding of counterterrorist operation, due to the volunteers, activists and charitable organizations, it was evacuated a large quantity of children from the combat zone. But after that it was appeared another problem, no less complex one – overwhelming majority of children and teenagers are in need of psychological and social rehabilitation after the outlived horrors of war.

In order to resolve this problem, the children evacuated from Donbas and Luhansk region were sent to the centers of socio-psychological rehabilitation where specialists have worked with them and a necessary psychological support has been rendered.

Together with the performing of assigned missions, Ukrainian scouts don’t stand aside from national problems and as far as possible have taken part in their solution. So, on the occasion of New Year holidays, the servicemen of units subordinated to the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine visited municipal institution “Center of socio-psychological rehabilitation of children “Nadiia” that is located in Tarashchanskyi district and Kyiv regional center of socio-psychological rehabilitation of children “Sezenkiv” which is situated in Baryshev district.

On initiative of personnel of military units, it was raised funds to buy toys for children, sweeties and different electronic gadgets. Sincere gratitude of little citizens of our state, their happy smiles and ringing laugh became a good reward to scouts who were accompanied by Santa Claus and Snow Maiden.
