In order to ensure a comprehensive consideration of appeals from citizens who became disabled due to injuries, contusions, mutilations or illnesses received during direct participation in the antiterrorist operation while ensuring its implementation with a physical presence in the ATO area, the Government of Ukraine approved the draft Law of Ukraine “On Amendments to the Law of Ukraine “On Citizens’ Appeal”.

The introduced amendments, in particular, stipulate that appeals from persons with disabilities from among ATO participants to state agencies, public services, local self-government bodies, enterprises, institutions and organizations should be reviewed personally by the heads of such institutions.
