Since the first days of the full-scale invasion of the occupying forces in the territory of Ukraine, Major Yurii Nazaruk took part in liberation of Irpen and Bucha from the russian evil, as well as he performed combat missions in Zaporizhzhia region, Mykolaiv region, Luhansk region and in Donbas region. He was one of the heroic defenders of Mariupol. On the personal account of the hero are several burned units of enemy equipment and dozens of annihilated occupants.

Morally and physically strong, he always knew how to make bold decisions in a flash, which saved the lives of hundreds of Ukraine’s defenders. He had unquestionable authority and respect among his comrades-in-arms.

Major Yurii Nazaruk was awarded with order “For Courage” 3rd degree, order “Bohdan Khmelnytskyi” 3rd degree, “To Defender of Ukraine” award, “Joint Forces Operation” medal, “For Victory and Loyalty” medal, honorary badge of Chief of the General Staff “For Achievemet in Military Service” 2nd degree, awards of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine “For Military Valour” and “Badge of Honour”, as well as badge “The Land Forces of Ukraine” for personal courage in the struggle against the russian horde.

The employees of military intelligence of Ukraine express the condolences to the family of the indomitable hero and will always remember their comrade-in-arms and mentor of many Special Forces servicemen, who gave his live for Ukraine.
