The Lviv citizens have thoroughly supported the defenders of Ukraine, since the first days of repulsion of the Russian armed aggression.

Besides the powerful volunteer movement, cultural and information activities, the inhabitants of the city and oblast have invented new ways to support the Ukrainian warriors the whole time.

So, on the “Karpaty” football club initiative, the ATO participants will be able to visit home matches of the football club free of charge. As director of “Arena Lviv” stadium Denys Rynskyi noted, the members of the organization of war veterans and ATO veterans will wait for ATO participants and give them tickets three hours before the beginning of matches near the stadium’s box offices.

In addition to that, on March 13, powerlifters will hold charitable powerlifting tournament. All gathered funds will be transferred to support the Ukrainian servicemen in the ATO area. The hosts of the tournament – the “Volunteer regiment” public organization and “Sport Club Lviv” – inform that competitions will be held in “Sport Club Lviv” (Lviv, 93/b Pasichna Street) at 12 noon. The charitable donation of each participant is 50 hryvnias. Everyone who wants to participate in the competitions can try to compete. At the day of the competition, according to the results of weighing, the participants will be divided into groups according to weight categories: to 75 kilograms, to 90 kilograms, to 105 kilograms and to 120 kilograms. Each participant has three attempts in every exercise (dead lift, bench pressing, squatting). Winners will receive monthly gym membership to “Sport Club Lviv”.
