The Children’s Art Contest, aimed at military and patriotic education of the youth, forming children’s patriotic values, respect for own state and the Ukrainian people, will be conducted from May 5 till August 27, this year.

Children of servicemen, civil servants and employees of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, military authorities, institutions, agencies, organizations and military units, as well as children from the families of fallen servicemen are invited to participate in the event.

The following creative works can be submitted for participation in the competition:

• drawings;
• applied ornaments;
• art and craft items (modeling, embroidery, weaving, mosaic, art of leather, stone, wood carving and inlay, art ceramics, art glass, art metal, origami, quilling, etc.).

The works must be submitted to the competition no later than 4 August, this year.
