Russia Destroys the National Identity of the Ukrainians in the Temporarily Occupied Territories

According to the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, one of the tools of ‘soft power’ of the Russian occupation administration is Russkii Mir Fund. Dmytro Kozak, Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation and principal implementer of Russia’s policy in the Ukrainian direction has been appointed as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Fund. Under the guise of this Fund, a representative office of the so-called international cultural project Russkii Tsentr (Russian Center) has been unveiled in the temporarily occupied territory of the east of Ukraine, which coordinates the work of local authority to carry out the humanitarian and cultural aggression against Ukraine.

The military intelligence of Ukraine notes that the so-called humanitarian units of the aggressor country are making major efforts to completely annihilate the national identity of the Ukrainian population in the temporarily occupied territories. Namely, they are the eradication of the Ukrainian language and culture in all areas of life of local population, the introduction of Russian educational standards at local educational institutions, the propagation of distorted historical facts about the history of the region, and further mental rapprochement of residents of certain areas of Donetsk and Luhansk regions with the population of the Russian Federation.
