As of now, information has been confirmed about preparations of components of the relevant forces for the launch of sea-based and land-based ballistic missiles, as well as air-based cruise missiles.

Within preparations for the exercises, an inspection of the russian armed forces “Monolit” centralized combat control system was carried out. In particular, the combat and control systems were checked, the forces and weapons of the strategic nuclear forces were put on the highest levels of combat readiness. A combat order on moving in launch area missile was set to the crew of the missile submarine cruiser of strategic assignment. Twenty-four-hour combat readiness to employ is maintained.

Among other things, at the 'tambov' air base, russians deployed an auxiliary post of the long-range aviation command.

Such actions by the russian military and political leadership, in particular, are an attempt to disrupt the visit of the U.S. President to Europe through means of direct nuclear blackmail, as well as to weaken international support for Ukraine.
