Dear colleagues!

Please, accept my sincere congratulations on the Day of Military Intelligence of Ukraine!

Over twenty-four years, military intelligence has passed through complicated way of establishment, reforming and development, and established itself as an effective and efficient tool in overall system of national security of Ukraine. There were changes in emphases and approaches in its activity but patriotic devotion and adherence to the Oath of Allegiance were unchanged.

Today, all thoughts are around the events in the East of Ukraine where our intelligence officers, whom not to borrow a bravery, courage and heroism, are performing combat special tasks, have done all possible in order to peace and harmony will be restored on our land as soon as possible.

Although the successes and achievements of military intelligence, as usual, are not commonly known, but a day will come when unknown names of present-day Heroes will become known to Ukrainian people.

With sadness in hearts, we remember light images of our combat sworn brothers who laid their lives, defending sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.

I thank agency’s workforce for high professionalism, fruitful activity, endurance, and self-sacrifice!

Let a fire of perseverance and boundless love to Homeland flame always in your heart, and a sharp blade of the sword, which is represented on symbol of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, remind of our strength and invincibility to the adversary! French writer Victor Hugo in his time said: “Courage brings into world winners, solidarity – unconquerable”.

On the occasion of our professional holiday, I wish you good health, happiness, vitality, optimism, abiding faith in victory and further successes in building of a free, independent and European powerful state!
