Dear veterans!

I sincere congratulate you on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of liberation of Ukraine from fascist invaders!

This significant day we pay a tribute of respect to those who in ferocious battle fought for our victory, who protected Ukrainian native land, to those who we are obliged for liberation from fascist – “brown plague” of the twentieth century!

In heart of every Ukrainian live a memory about millions of courage and staunch Ukrainians, about their self-sacrificingness in the name of their nation and native land.

We remember those who gave own life for a happy future of descendants with gratitude.

It has happened so that we meet this remarkable date in arms. Today’s defenders of Ukraine continue the heroic traditions of war veterans with dignity.

The servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine – the participants of counterterrorist operation together with the fighters of National Guards, State Border Service, the representatives of other law enforcement agencies selflessly fulfill constitutional duty, display courage and heroism, demonstrate a high professionalism, patriotism and fidelity to Ukraine, defending its independence and territorial integrity in conditions of terroristic threat in the East of Ukraine.

And nowadays, in 70 years after liberation of Ukraine, the fortune and the future of our country depend on heroic men – officers, servicemen of contracted military service, mobilized servicemen.

Today’s defenders of Ukraine became worthy successors of glory of liberators. For them, protection of Motherland, its freedom and independence are and will be the highest law of existence.

Ukrainian fighters showed the whole world that they are able to defend state, to save the lives of civil citizens, to help inhabitants of Donetsk and Luhansk regions who suffer from terrorists’ lawlessness.

Dear veterans!

This day we bow to veterans who their heroism brought closer a bright day of liberation of Ukraine from fascist invaders. I wish you, dear liberators, strong health and longevity.

Dear combat sworn brothers - ATO participants!

To you, descendants of glory victories fell a lot to defend the independence of Ukraine in the conditions, in fact, of external aggression. In this struggle we will win, because the truth with us!
