This time, our warriors received a Volkswagen Caravelle van, digital radiosets with all the necessary accessories, a digital mobile radio station, a distance measuring device, night vision devices, and lanterns of infrared light. The rendered assistance came up to a total value of more than 27 0000 hryvnias.
“The guys who received these assets – are true heroes. Every day, they risk their lives performing combat tasks on the contact line and in the occupied territory. Each one of them is here of his own volition and they do not expect gratitude for their hard work. Instead, they silently do what they must. We hope that the transferred goods, purchased by virtue of the assiduous work of the volunteers of the Ukrainian diaspora in Canada, will save lives and keep scouts out of harm’s way”, – representative of the “Free People” network Dmytro Zhmailo said.
Moreover, scouts-volunteers received books from the Ukrainian Publishing Union named after Yurii Lypa, newspapers “Way to Victory” and sweets from the network’s volunteers.
