At the National University of Defence of Ukraine named after I. Cherniakhovskyi in Kyiv, under the leadership of the Chief of General Staff - Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Army General of Ukraine Viktor Muzhenko, a specialized research and application conference took place on the employment and interaction of the state’s security and defence forces during a large-scale armed aggression.

The conference was attended by the leadership of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, representatives of military formations of the state and leading experts in the field of national security and defence.

The participants of the event, among else, discussed contemporary and perspective threats in the military sphere, analyzed the state of the security situation in and around Ukraine, new forms and methods of waging wars (including hybrid), ways of consolidating the society and determined common approaches to state defence.

By the results of the conference, proposals were made to the military authorities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military formations, state institutions and authorities regarding urgent measures for strengthening national security and defence.
