In the course of his working trip to Donetsk region, the President of Ukraine awarded military medics for personal courage displayed while protecting the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine. In addition, he presented sanitary engineering certificates for medical units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Moreover, the Head of State passed to the representative of the ATO Command optical intelligence mean which had been purchased by the President of Lithuania Dalia Grybauskaite on her personal funds.

“I want to convey very symbolic things, as they were not financed by the state budget of Lithuania but by NGOs to help our warriors – 150 periscopes were given to the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine. This one, Dalia Grybausakaite purchased on her own funds. Allow me to give it to the Chief of the Anti-terrorist operation so that our reconnaissance men will have the possibility to gain information safely and provide liberation of lands”, - the Head of State said.

The President of Ukraine reminded that Dalia Grybauskaite had visited Ukraine a few days ago and had emphasized that she firmly and heavily supports Ukrainian sovereignty, territorial integrity and the independence of Ukraine.
