Under the auspices of leadership of our state, the nearest time it is expected an adoption of new types of weapons and equipments in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in particular, small arms.

On purpose of all-round verification of new weapons, it is lasted the testing on verification of fastening and possibility of using of weapons during the personnel’s landing. For this reason the employees of State Research Center of the Armed Forces of Ukraine implemented a number of parachute jumps with latest patterns of small arms.

During parachute jumping, specialists checked new methods of placement and fastening of several patterns of small arms for parachute landing, and possibility to execute the parachute jumps with the arms of different complexity with the using of domestic parachute system.

The tests’ results will be used for improvement of the ways of application of the Highly Mobile Landing Troops and the reconnaissance units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

It should be noted that the State Research Center of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is a unique organization that has a wide experience in research developments and in testing of aviation weapons and equipments. In current year, the center was redeployed in Chernihiv region from temporarily occupied territory of the Crimea.
