Arranging Rehabilitation for ATO Warriors in the Dnipropetrovsk Region

This year, more than 500 ATO warriors from the Dnipropetrovsk region underwent treatment free of charge in the sanatoriums of Ukraine. About 800 servicemen will undergo rehabilitation and psychological adjustment by the end of 2016. This was reported by the head of Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration, Valentyn Reznichenko.

“This year, our region received more than 1.3 thousand sanatorium vouchers for health improvement and psychological adjustment of ATO warriors. The servicemen are accomodated in sanatoriums throughout the country. Health-improving treatments, experienced specialists and the therapeutic power of nature – all of this has helped our warriors to restore health and psychological balance. The state provides such sanatorium vouchers, that is why the rest is free of charge” – he noted.

More than 200 demobilizees recreated in sanatoriums of Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa, Kharkiv, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Lviv and Zakarpattia regions. Mineral water, therapeutic muds, massages, and remedial gymnastics – all of this helped our guys to improve their health and restore their strength. Warriors undergo such treatment during a period of 18 days.

Another 300 demobilizees underwent psychological rehabilitation during 14 days in the sanatoriums of Odesa, Kharkiv, Kyiv and Chernihiv.

In total, the region received 514 sanatorium vouchers for sanatorium treatment and 834 sanatorium vouchers for the psychological rehabilitation of warriors.
