On the eve of May 9, the DIU HQ the second year in a row has not conducted traditional meetings with war veterans on Liutizh springboard by the reason of the difficult situation in Ukraine, because of Russian aggression and the performing significant amount of assigned missions by scouts. However, the war veterans have not disregarded neither in everyday life nor during the holidays.

So, on the eve of the Victory Day, the DIU employees attended war veterans who live in Kyiv. Together with the intelligence officers, the veterans’ family were greeted by the wife of the Chief of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine and the members of Women’s Club of the DIU “Lybid”

Having thanked the veterans for their contribution in victory, for fruitful work and patriotic education of youth, the representatives of the DIU presented gifts and decorations them from the Chief of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine.

Touched by the greetings, especially from women, gray-haired veterans sincerely thanked for warm words and for that they have not been forgotten at this difficult time for Ukraine; because the most valuable present for them is an attention.

Low bow, dear veterans and eternal memory those who with honor were killed in battle!
