Medical and service staff of Sumy hospital for disabled war veterans, which was defined as a basic coordination center for medical support of ATO participants and members of their families, are now working up to the limit. As the defenders of Ukraine – participants of ATO – apply for help to the Hospital every day.

According to the Head of the Public Health Department of Sumy Oblast State Administration, from the beginning of the anti-terrorist operation more than 1500 warriors turned to the health protection establishments of Sumy. More than one third of them underwent hospital treatment. At the same time, the appropriate attention is paid to the families of the perished heroes. Particular attention is focused on the early diagnosis of diseases. More than 2000 Ukrainian warriors have passed such checkup. Besides, Serhii Butenko reminded that all ATO participants and members of their families may undergo free clinical laboratory, ultrasound, X-ray and other types of examination in the oblast diagnostic center.
