DIU Cybersecurity Specialists Conduct Another Powerful Blow to Enemy
Defence Intelligence of Ukraine informs about another successful cyberattack in russia, destroying the entire IT infrastructure of IPL Consulting, a company that implemented information systems in the russian industry.
The said company presented itself as one of the most modern russian enterprises, which provided assistance in the implementation of information systems to institutions engaged in the designing and production of automotive and aviation components, heavy engineering, as well as the production of equipment and devices, including in the interests of the russian defence industrial complex.
The devastating attack against IPL Consulting had been carried out by DIU specialists who penetrated the company's internal network and destroyed its entire IT infrastructure of more than 60 terabytes, as well as dozens of servers and databases.
The cost of the digital array of data lost by russia is being calculated. Amid the ongoing sanctions pressure against russia, the damage inflicted on the enemy is extremely painful. In addition, this affects dozens of russian companies that work for the defence sector of the aggressor state.
