“I want my country was mine”

“Tania will soon arrive” are ordinary words, said after telephone conversation. However, after these words, severe faces of scouts become lighter and the voices become gentle.

Military camouflage, unfathomable eyes and firm men’s handshake of fragile hand. She is beautiful and womanlike, and in addition to that she is manly and persistent. She is a weak because she couldn’t endure calmly the enemy attack on her Motherland, and at the same time she is extremely strong because she has made every possible and sometimes impossible in order to help people who defend our Motherland.

At first, she supported the unit of husband who went to the war as a volunteer and than she became “a guardian angel” of several military units. In August Tania’s husband was killed during artillery fire, but she continued begun work. Accumulated money for business development, she spent on tents, sleeping bags and radio stations for the army. Kevlar helmets, bullet-proof vests and medicines that she personally brought in the thick of war, saved more than one life.

According to the Decree of Ukrainian President, Tatiana Rychkova was awarded with state award – the Order of “Princess Olha” (3rd Class) on the occasion of the Independence Day of Ukraine. However, because of her permanent volunteer employment, she is able to receive it just now.

“We help not for the sake of awards, we just want to get everything over as quickly as possible”, – Tatiana Rychkova said. – I dreamt of baking bread but I had to deal with the war. I just want my country was mine.”

Intelligence men – participants of counterterrorist operation congratulate Tatiana Rychkova with the award, and sincerely thank her for supporting and wish to remain always as an example of feminity, courage and patriotism.
