The war changes not only life plans of the individual or a family but it indicates vulnerable spots in life of whole state organisms. The teachers of intelligence department of National Defence University of Ukraine taking into consideration an armed conflict in Dondas have understood that they taught correctly their officers-intelligence men. All the information that needed to the counterterrorist operation (CTO) leadership for decision making, intelligence men have given in time and in full.

Intelligence department – it’s a team of persons holding the same views and highly skilled specialists, among them are real legends of military intelligence. Nowadays, the teachers of the department are being in CTO area, have collected and have summarized urgent data concerning the practical using of reconnaissance units, have developed and have implemented in educational process new views on performing reconnaissance. Student officers have shared their combat experience. Most of them are the participants of CTO and they have repeatedly performed missions in battle conditions.

From the day of foundation of department, experienced professional and teaching staff teaches officers to organize and to apply intelligence at strategic and operational and tactical levels. A huge practical experience of work gained in higher echelon of command and control by the armed forces, instructors have efficiently used in instructional and scientific work of leading department of educational institution as well as they have formed civic and state position of student officers.
