There are military legal advice centers in every military garrison. That's why, military men, veterans of military service, members of their families and employees of the Armed Forces of Ukraine can finally enjoy their rights for free legal consultations in practice.

The main task of these legal advice centers is to explain the existing practice of the Ukrainian legislation and to provide free legal aid.

Every service man who has some legal questions related to the military service may receive a comprehensive answer straight from the source and without any bureaucratic delays. In Kyiv, such a consultation center is in the premises of the Central Officers' House. The representatives of the legal service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine work there every Thursday, from 15 pm till 17 pm.

According to one of the sections of the legal service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the majority of the issues they are facing concern the status of a combatant, peculiarities of the military service in a special period and an order of leaving the military service in a special period.
