According to a study published in the Polish edition of the "Political Science and Security Studies Journal", the Ukrainian Magura V5 maritime strike drone was recognised as the most effective drone amid the russian-Ukrainian war.

Thanks to Magura V5 drones, 14 russian ships were hit, 8 of which were completely destroyed.

These include the enemy reconnaissance ship "ivan khurs", the patrol ship "siergei kotov", the amphibious assault ships "akula" and "serna", the missile ship "ivanoviets", the large amphibious assault ship "caesar kunikov", as well as russian high-speed patrol and amphibious boats of various types.

The damage caused to the aggressor state of russia by the operators of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine using Magura V5 drones is estimated at more than half a billion dollars.

In addition to comparing the effectiveness of the Magura V5 with other weapons of this type, Polish scientists also assessed how the employment of maritime strike drones has affected the security situation in the Black Sea.
