As press-service of the National Army Academy informs, an unprecedented pilot project for the one year training of qualified officer personnel for the Armed Forces of Ukraine – “Leadership Courses” – starts at the National Army Academy named after Hetman Petro Sagaydachnyi.

Requirements for candidates:

citizens of Ukraine (regular servicemen or contract service, civilians under the age of 40);

the higher education not lower than the educational degree “bachelor;

fitness for military service;

desire to refill the officer corps of the Ukrainian Army.

After enrolling for training, the students sign a contract with the Armed Forces of Ukraine and receive cash from 7.000 UAH. per month, other types of supplies, and also enjoy all the social guarantees provided for contract servicemen.

The training term is 12 months, at the end of which, after successful completion of the examinations, all graduates of the courses will qualify as a “tactical level officer”, a military rank “junior lieutenant” and guaranteed to be assigned for further service at the officers positions in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The selection of candidates for training begins on July 23, 2018.
