Weapons, Equipment and Drones ― Intelligence Men Received Assistance from Private Benefactors

Special Forces units of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine received new mortars, ammunition, drones and vehicles.

Weapons and special equipment were purchased at the expense of the BROCARD group of companies (Egzagon LLC and Brocard-Ukraine LLC) under a Memorandum of Cooperation.

In total, the intelligence officers received Daewoo Novus truck, Mitsubishi L200 pickup trucks, quad bikes, Mavic 3T quadcopters, 155 mm artillery shells, 122 mm jet projectile, 120 mm M-75 mortars.

"In the near future, the handed over equipment and weapons will be distributed among the DIU units, which have been performing tasks on the frontline," said Yevhenii Yerin, a representative of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine.

He emphasised the important role of responsible business in supporting the Security and Defence Forces and expressed his gratitude for the assistance.

Oksana Hut, Director of Egzagon LLC, representing the interests of the owner of the group of companies, French citizen Philippe Benacin, noted that during the full-scale russian invasion, the amount of aid allocated to support the Security and Defence Forces of Ukraine amounted to over UAH 215 million.

"The contribution of our group to the future of Ukraine is not limited to financial support for the army. We are systematically working for the country's economy. In 2024, the amount of taxes paid by our companies will be UAH 800 million. The number of employees retained during the full-scale war is 1,500 people, and all of them receive official salaries," said Oksana Hut.

She also announced the amount of assistance planned for the Military Intelligence of Ukraine by the end of 2024 and handed over a symbolic certificate for UAH 100 million.

The servicewomen who attended the event, who serve in the DIU units, received gift sets from the benefactor company.
