On May 24, 2019, a solemn welcoming of the personnel of a separate reconnaissance battalion of the operational command “West” will be held at the central square of Dubno town at 9.00 a. m. This reconnaissance battalion will come back permanent disposition after performing combat tasks in the JFO.

The battalion’s reconnaissance men have been performing combat tasks on frontline since the beginning of the Russian aggression against Ukraine. They fought for many settlements in Luhansk and Donetsk regions. The hottest spots were Avdiivka, Pisky, Svitlodarsk bulge, Stanytsia Luhanska, Novoaidarskyi district, Mariyinka, Shyrokyne, battles near Horlivka.

Event’s schedule includes a festive awarding of the best warriors, demonstration of hand-to-hand fighting, the exhibition of patterns of weapons and military equipment, a festive concert in honor of the reconnaissance men, and others.
