The Chief of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, Oleh Ivashchenko, and his Deputy, Major General Vadym Skibitskyi, held a meeting with delegates of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe — one of the two main statutory bodies of the Council of Europe.
They briefed European partners on the current situation at the front and on moscow’s plans to build up the aggressor’s military potential.
The kremlin intends to intensify its projection of power across Europe. Among the key directions are the continuation of hybrid aggression against European states, the undermining of democratic values, and attempts to reduce the volume of military assistance to Ukraine by intimidating European societies.
Representatives of the DIU answered diplomats’ questions and emphasized: military and economic support for Ukraine from the EU is the best investment in the security of all of Europe.
Oleh Ivashchenko and Vadym Skibitskyi are also continuing their work as part of Ukraine’s delegation participating in the negotiation process with the United States of America and other international partners of Ukraine, as well as with representatives of the russian federation, aimed at achieving a just and lasting peace.
We are fighting for the security of Ukraine and Europe!
Glory to Ukraine!
