Nowadays, leading countries of the world have in service of own armed forces a powerful depot of UFV of various purpose. Unmanned combat flying vehicles in most cases have a long time of designing, testing and adoption into service, manufacturing capabilities and professional technical supporting of the process of using.

At the beginning of ATO, the Armed Forces of Ukraine had a depot of outdated UFV of Soviet production and theoretical projects in the sector of making of modern drones. Aggression against our state and the course of holding of counterterrorist operation quickly exposed all previous errors and compelled the Ukrainians to search and apply all possible strength and resources to counteract the enemy. It was effectively used all for needs of the defence – and above-mentioned outdated UFV, and designings of scientists and even airplanes-models that were quickly remodeled by enthusiasts. All that could fly, obtain and pass information, saving the lives to Ukrainian soldiers, were taken into the air.

Nowadays, due to the efforts of the leadership of our state, volunteers and not indifferent people, the situation of provision with the weapons and military equipments of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has substantially improved. However, in the conditions of conducting of position defense, the issue of supplying of troops by the technical means of reconnaissance has assumed a primary significance. At the same time, one the most effective technical means of reconnaissance is unmanned flying vehicles.

Understanding the importance of UFV, in the Armed Forces of Ukraine is held a number of relevant organizational and technical events. At the same time, the volunteers haven’t stood aside. So, these days in Rivne region the volunteers together with the militaries have tested reconnaissance complex which consists of two UFV and off-road vehicles with the command and control system. According to the design engineers of complex, its cost price is less than the cost price of foreign and Ukrainian analogs.

In its turn, the pupils of air-model group of center of young technicians of town Yuzhnoukrainsk, Mykolaiv region produced and passed their UFV to the militaries in ATO’s area. It took month and a half to manufacture a drone by young technicians and their teacher. Despite the sarcasm of skeptics concerning the effectiveness of above-mentioned pattern, this drone is able to save lives of Ukrainian soldiers till the professional patterns of UFV will adopt into service of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
