Veterans say that farming not only helps to adapt to a peace life, but also develops villages.
There are over 20 ATO veterans in the cooperative society. Together, they cultivate land which was allocated by the state, look for volunteers and participate in grant programmes. After presenting a well-grounded business-plan they received money for purchasing new machinery.
The Head of NGO “ATO veterans from Lyman district” Volodymyr Kaliuzhnyi underscores: “I think that there could be no better way to adapt; economical motivation, communication with each other, common work - what could be better?”
In future, demobilized warriors plan to expand their cooperative. They expect other combat sworn brothers will join their work.
