A chilling conversation intercepted by Ukraine’s Defence Intelligence reveals a shocking case of cannibalism among russian troops operating near Kupiansk in eastern Ukraine.
According to the intercepted call, a russian soldier known by the call sign “Brelok” murdered his comrade “Foma” — and proceeded to consume the body over the course of two weeks.
“No one ran off anywhere. ‘Brelok’ murdered him, then f**king ate him for two weeks,” says the commander of the occupation forces unit.
Later, “Brelok” himself was found dead.
“They say he’s KIA, f**k. He ate his partner. Something to think about,” another russian soldier remarks grimly in the recording.
Both soldiers served in the same unit of the 68th Motorized Rifle Division, a formation operating on the Kupiansk axis.
This is not the first indication of severe moral and psychological degradation within russian occupying forces, who are often left without proper regard for human life — including their own.
The Defence Intelligence of Ukraine reminds the world that every war crime committed against the Ukrainian people will face just retribution.
