The Defence Intelligence of Ukraine (DIU) has published an interactive 3D model and identified over fifty cooperation enterprises involved in the production of the 72V6 combat vehicle for the "pantsir-S1" anti-aircraft gun-missile (SPAAGM) system under the "Components in Weapons" section of the "War&Sanctions" portal.
The enemy uses the "pantsir" to provide cover for small, high-priority areas and specific military and industrial facilities, and to reinforce air defense groupings at low and extremely low altitudes against massed air strikes. Notably, "pantsir-S1" systems were deployed on the rooftops of buildings in central moscow as early as 2023, including for the protection of the kremlin.
The primary combat element of the system is the combat vehicle, equipped with detection, tracking, and engagement systems. A defining feature of the complex is its combination of missile and gun armament, enabling continuous fire across various ranges and altitudes.
Today, we are releasing an interactive 3D model highlighting the main components of the 72V6 "pantsir-S1" combat vehicle, along with data on 52 enterprises involved in its manufacture.
Ten of these companies are currently not subject to sanctions by any country within the sanctions coalition. These include:
Synchronizing sanctions pressure, tightening controls over compliance with existing restrictions, and ensuring real accountability for violations are essential to limiting the aggressor's military capabilities and establishing global peace and stability.
