The Defence Intelligence of Ukraine (DIU) has published an interactive 3D model, the main assemblies, and components of the enemy’s new cruise missile “izdeliye-30,” as well as data on 20 enterprises involved in its production cooperation chain, under the “Components in Weapons” section of the War&Sanctions portal.

The missile has a 3-meter wingspan, an 800-kg warhead, and an operational range of at least 1,500 km. The first recorded uses of the new missile against Ukraine took place at the end of last year.

Based on markings and design features, the product has been identified as a development of OKB “zvezda,” which is part of the “tactical missiles corporation.” Certain technical solutions are unified with other products of this developer and the corporation as a whole. In particular, the installed pneumatic pyrovalve is identical to the elements used in the Kh-35U missile, while the aircraft ejection launcher is similar to the AKU-5M systems employed for the Kh-101, Kh-55, and Kh-555 missiles.

The satellite navigation system, marking perhaps the first time in the enemy’s cruise missiles, is represented by a combination of products from two different russian companies — the jam-resistant satellite signal receiver with a digital antenna array “kometa-m12” manufactured by “vniir-progress,” and a receiving and computing unit produced by “kb navis,” developed on the basis of the NAVIS NR9 receiver.

Integration of these components is carried out using an interface unit manufactured by ANPP “temp-avia,” known for producing flight controllers for guided aerial bombs.

All three elements of the navigation system contain components manufactured by foreign companies from the United States, Switzerland, China, and the Netherlands.

A separate electronic control unit for the warhead, BUBS-30, is built on a russian component base. Its key element is a 32-bit ARM architecture microcontroller, 1986VE1AT, produced by the company “pkk milandr.”

The DIU continues systematic work analysing the enemy’s new developments and informing the international community to jointly counter emerging threats.
