April 29, 2026

Under the "Tools of War" section on the "War&Sanctions" portal, the DIU is publishing over 60 units of foreign equipment used by russian aircraft developers and manufacturers, missile developers, submarine component developers, and enterprises involved in the technological equipping of russian defense plants.

Today's update includes, in particular, CNC (computer numerical control) lathes, milling, band-sawing, screw-cutting, grinding, and other machine tools operating at:

  • the mbc "fakel" (also known as "okb-2") — one of the oldest soviet-russian design bureaus specializing in the development of anti-aircraft guided missiles;
  • the "sozvezdie" concern, which unites enterprises for the development and production of electronic warfare and communication equipment;
  • jsc "proton," which, among other things, produces diode modules for the S-71 "kovyor" cruise missiles reported on earlier.

The "Tools of War" section contains data on 1,635 units of foreign equipment used at 218 enterprises of the russian military-industrial complex.

The DIU emphasizes that restricting the aggressor's access to technology is a prerequisite for global peace and stability.
