The Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, within the “Weapons Systems” category of the “Weapons Components” section on the War & Sanctions portal, has published an interactive 3D model and detailed information on the manufacturing cooperation involved in producing 9M727 cruise missiles, which are part of russia’s Iskander-K operational-tactical missile system.
The lead enterprise in the production cycle is the Novator Design Bureau, a subsidiary of the Almaz-Antey concern. In addition, DIU has disclosed 39 russian enterprises and one Belarusian company involved in manufacturing the missile’s warhead, turbojet engine, and its components, satellite and inertial navigation systems, as well as other electronic units and critical components used in Iskander-K cruise missiles.
The complete list of enterprises, including identification details, descriptions of their activities, roles within the production network, and information on sanctions imposed against them, is available via the War & Sanctions portal.
The aggressor state against Ukraine is currently using these weapons; however, in the near future, they may pose a threat to other countries of the civilized world.
The synchronization of sanctions policies, increased pressure on russia’s military-industrial supply chains, and continued support for Ukraine remain key factors in deterring aggression and restoring security in Europe and beyond.
