February 26, 2026

The Defence Intelligence of Ukraine in cooperation with the Center for Countering Disinformation in the “Mouthpieces of the kremlin” section of the War&Sanctions portal has published information on ten russian public figures who publicly support the armed aggression of russia against Ukraine and justify the occupation of Ukrainian territories.

The individuals include artists, journalists, writers, and media figures who systematically promote kremlin narratives, legitimize war crimes, and cooperate with the ruling regime of russia and occupation administrations in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.

Among those published:

  • sergey aleksandrovich mikheev — russian political analyst, radio and television host, and member of the central council of the party “a just russia.” In public statements, he denies Ukraine’s right to exist, asserting that along the border with rf “there should be scorched earth, a dead zone,” and that the city of Sumy “must be wiped off the face of the earth”;
  • maxim aleksandrovich kalashnikov (vladimir aleksandrovich kucherenko) — journalist, writer, producer of the YouTube channel “Roy TV,” member of the іzborsk сlub, and author of anti-Ukrainian books, including “Independent Ukraine: The Collapse of the Project.” In his works, he systematically calls for the elimination of Ukrainian independence;
  • roman yurievich antonovsky — blogger, writer, propagandist for the “tsargrad” television channel, and author of the Telegram channel “sons of monarchy,” who promotes the concept of the “russian world” and justifies the annexation of Ukrainian territories. In the book “Alpha Male. Smash Them, President!” he portrays putin as a “superhero” and “savior of the empire.”

As of today, the “Mouthpieces of the kremlin” section of the War&Sanctions portal contains information on 176 representatives of russia’s propaganda machine. They justify aggression and war crimes of russia, manipulate socially significant information, spread disinformation about events at the front, and influence public opinion in various regions of the world.

The DIU and the Center for Countering Disinformation call on partner states to impose personal sanctions against representatives of the rf propaganda apparatus, including: entry bans, asset freezes, and the termination of media and commercial cooperation.
