U.S. Special Representative to Ukraine, Keith Kellogg, was given a detailed briefing on Western-made electronic components recovered from destroyed or captured russian weapons by the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine.
The special exhibition was organized by the War&Sanctions portal of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, in cooperation with Ukraine's Defence Forces and the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise.
Among the items presented to Mr. Kellogg were Western-made parts found in Iranian-russian Shahed kamikaze drones (also known as "Geran") and russian Geran-2 drones, which the aggressor state continues to use to terrorize Ukraine's civilian population.
The identified components included critical microelectronics used in precision-guided weapons, obtained by the russian military-industrial complex through "grey schemes" that circumvent international sanctions.
"The international community must strengthen enforcement of existing sanctions against moscow. Manufacturers also need to take greater responsibility for controlling where their products end up," emphasized a DIU officer known by the call sign Shyfr.
The DIU continues its efforts to expose the inner workings of russian weaponry and track components to prevent further sanctions evasion.
