The representatives of the DIU, the Special Operations Forces, and the “Azov” regiment of the National Guard of Ukraine attended the event.

The cadets of the National University of Civil Defence of Ukraine, located in Cherkasy, met with the Armed Forces servicemen on November 15.

They told cadets the stories of the brave fight of Ukrainian defenders against the russian occupants.

In particular, the project “Outstanding Intelligence Officers”, dedicated to the memory of the fallen heroes of the DIU, was presented to the university youth.

The author of the project, representative of the military intelligence Olha Mosiondz told the audience about the extraordinary deeds of the DIU warriors who showed the highest degree of valor and love for Ukraine during the fight against the Muscovites. There is work underway on a book that will collect the stories of outstanding intelligence officers.

In particular, the young men and women could learn about the combat and life paths of the Heroes of Ukraine Valerii Chybiniev, Oleh Zaitsev, Vitaliy Ihnatenko, and Oleksandr Chub.

Oleksandr's father, officer Serhiy Chub, spoke to the audience about his son's brave deeds.

He emphasized the importance of holding events aimed at the patriotic education of young people for the sake of a free future and the defense of Ukraine.

Eternal glory to those who fell in battle for Ukraine. Honor to everyone who continues to destroy the Russian invaders.
