On the night of February 7, 2025, a massive explosion occurred on the territory of military unit 52116 in Dolgoprudnyi town near Moscow.

The explosives destroyed two russian Valdai radar systems designed to automatically detect and counter UAVs around the clock.

The Valdai is the latest development in russia’s military-industrial complex and is the first model in its class to be put into service by the russian army.
