Quiet night, fire of torches, combat flags in hands - during an atmospheric solemn event, the warriors of the DIU Kraken Special Forces unit honored their combat sworn brothers.

“The memory of them allows us to fulfill our mission - to defend Ukraine - at a high level,” one of the unit's commanders emphasized.

The soldiers who distinguished themselves on the battlefields against the Russian occupiers received awards.

“There is no more honorable and difficult fate than to defend your homeland today. You joined the ranks of the unit and gained glory and freedom for our cities. I am grateful to the entire unit that is defending Ukraine,” said the DIU officer.
