"Let's Commemorate Defenders of Ukraine"
The bicycle race of war veterans on the occasion of the Day of Remembrance of the Defenders of Ukraine, who died in the struggle for independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, will last on August 16-30, 2020, on route Uzhhorod – Mariupol.
Representatives of NGOs, participants of the anti-terrorist operation, participants of the Joint Forces Operation, veterans of Afghan war from different regions of Ukraine will join the bicycle race throughout the journey. The participants of the bicycle race will cover distance near 1800 kilometers for two weeks.
In towns where the bicycle race will take place, the participants will meet with representatives of local authorities, families of perished warriors, war veterans, local inhabitants and youth, as well as will lay flowers to monuments and alleys of glory of perished participants of hostilities.
