Su-57 Is Hit for the First TimeOn June 8, 2024, a Su-57 multi-role fighter of the aggressor state was struck at the akhtubinsk airfield in the astrakhan region of the russian federation, 589 kilometres from the contact line.

This is evidenced by satellite images of the aircraft parked at the enemy airfield.

The images from 7 June show that the Su-57 was intact, while images dated by 8 June reveal craters from the explosion and distinct fire marks caused by the strike.

The Su-57 is moscow's most advanced fighter, capable of striking by Kh-59 and Kh-69 missiles.

The russian aerospace forces have only a handful of these combat aircraft in service.

The hitting of the Su-57 is the first such case in history.

Glory to Ukraine!
