The Hero of Ukraine Major-General Ihor Hordiichuk took part in liberation of Sloviansk, Kramatorsk, Artemivsk. He personally commanded by taking over the control of Savur-Mohyla. He received severe wound during the breakthrough to Ilovaisk. He was survived. He has currently headed Kyiv Ivan Bohun Military Lyceum.
