The strike by drones on the moscow’s kremlin on May 4 may be related to the activity of local resistance forces or to the dismantling of the so-called kremlin towers.

This was stated by Andrri Yusov, the representative of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, in an interview with “RBK-Ukraine”.

According to him, such a serious information and propaganda campaign – the UAV attack on kremlin – would require appropriate planning and resources. Ukraine directs its forces and possibilities in other direction:

“There is an official position of Ukraine, the officials: no; not involved and there is no need to do this. Because the measures of the Ukrainian Security and Defence Forces are aimed at the de-occupation, liberation of Ukrainian territories and neutralization of the hostile military facilities,” the DIU representative stressed.

According to Andrii Yusov, the effect of drones over the kremlin delegitimizes putin's regime — shows that he does not control the situation.

“When we speak about the kremlin, we must remember that it has different ‘towers’ and different people live there, often with different, and sometimes even with opposite interests. Therefore, the residents of certain ‘towers’ could well be involved in this,” Andrii Yusov added.

At the same time, the representative of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine does not reject the version that the attack could have been staged in the kremlin as a provocation for another wave of mobilization inside russia.

“This event cannot be interpreted as an attempt on putin, as russian propaganda presented it very quickly and very expeditiously,” the DIU representative emphasized.
