Dear servicemen and employees of the Armed Forces of Ukraine! Dear veterans!

I heartily congratulate you on the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Ukraine is proud of its army and trusts it. Having revived in the terms of war, the Ukrainian army has undergone the hearth of challenges, strengthened, gained invaluable combat experience; it is sure in its strength and has ruined the invasive plans of the enemy armed to the bone.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine ready to combat are the achievement of millions of Ukrainians, real patriots of its states, which make their own contribution to the development of the army, fighting at the frontline, training on military ranges and working on the defence enterprises.

I sincerely thank the personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for conscientious fulfillment of the constitutional duty, bravery, heroism and self-sacrifice, showed in the course of the anti-terrorist operation on the territory of Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts.

We bow our heads to honor the warriors who gave their lives for our blessed Ukrainian land. Eternal glory to them!

I want to say the words of gratitude to the veterans of war and military service, for their active public stance in education of the future warriors and great contribution to the renewal of the combat effectiveness of the Ukrainian army!

I am sure that the Armed Forces of Ukraine will further defend the independence and territorial integrity of Ukraine.

I wish you and your families sound health, happiness, welfare and new achievements in a notable service to the Motherland.
