The “EuroMaidan SOS-2017” Volunteer Prize, founded in November 2014, is an all-Ukrainian non-state award. The motto of the prize is “Ordinary people do extraordinary things”. The award ceremony will be held on November 30th in Kyiv.

This year, among the nominees is Larysa Poluliakh - a volunteer from Vinnytsia and coordinator of the “Battle Bees” group, which has been providing assistance to ATO participants and members of their families since 2014. Among the “wards” of Mrs. Larysa are military intelligence officers, who, in particular, have repeatedly been provided with assistance in the form of automotive equipment. In addition, the “Battle Bees” implement projects on the provision of legal aid to ATO veterans and their family members, on organization of recreation for children of Ukraine’s defenders, on treatment and rehabilitation of wounded soldiers abroad, and others.
