2002 – 2012 – engineer platoon commander, commander of the engineer company of the 56^th separate air assault brigade (Kamyshyn, Volhohrad oblast) of the Airborne Forces of the Russian Armed Forces. In 2015-2016 battalion and company tactical groups of the 56^th separate air assault brigade of the Russian Airborne Forces participated in the hostilities in the territory of Ukraine;

2012 – 2015 – chief of the engineer service of the 34^th separate motorized rifle brigade (Storozhevaia, Zelenchukskyi rayon, the Karachayevo-Cherkessian Republic) of the 49^th Army (Stavropol) of the Southern Military District of the Russian Armed Forces. In 2014 the units of the 34^th separate motorized rifle brigade of the 49^th Army of the Russian Southern Military District located in the territory of the temporarily occupied Crimea.
