2005 – 2010 – commander of the 83^rd separate air assault brigade of the Far Eastern Military District of the Russian Armed Forces;

2012 – 2014– deputy commander of the 58^th Army (Vladykavkaz) of the Southern Military District of the Russian Armed Forces.

Combat experience: participant of the Chechen campaigns of 1995 and 2000.
