An open championship of Kirovohrad oblast in military-sports all-round has been held already for the second time in the local Children's Sports School No.2 and lasted two days. The championship is dedicated to the scout of the 3rd separate Special Forces regiment, multiple champion of the world, Europe and Ukraine in Pankration Maksym Benderov, who gave his life defending the freedom and independence of our state from the Russian invaders.

Maksym's parents, his comrades-in-arms, veterans and representatives of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church were present at the solemn opening of the competition, in which 134 athletes took part.

The competitions proceeded in a tense struggle, because all participants were honored to receive a commemorative medal from the hands of Maksym Benderov's father and a commendation letter from one of his sworn brothers.
