Throughout March 2025, the aggressor state of russia has seen a surge in railway fires disrupting the logistics that support its military operations.

Specifically, fires in the moscow, samara, and tver regions have destroyed six units of traction rolling stock. Meanwhile, nine railway signaling, centralization, and blocking devices were rendered inoperable in the Republic of mari el, stavropol, and krasnoyarsk territories.

A power transformer and fuel tank car were also burned out in the moscow region.
