The Verkhovna Rada Regulated the Mechanism of Providing Housing For Servicemen
The Law of Ukraine “On Amendments to the Legislative Acts of Ukraine on the Provision of Residential Facilities to Servicemen and Family Members of Servicemen Who Perished During in the course of Military Duty” was adopted.
The law provides for the strengthening of the social protection of citizens called for military service during a special mobilization period, families of servicemen who perished or were lost in action during an anti-terrorist operation, as well as to create legal grounds for eliminating ambiguity of the use of normative legal acts in the sphere of provision of housing for servicemen and members of their families.
Corresponding changes have been introduced to the Housing Code of Ukraine SSR, Article 12 of the Law of Ukraine “On Social and Legal Protection of Servicemen and their Family Members” and the Statute of the Internal Service of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
