Private businessmen, volunteers, as well as renowned Lviv craftswoman Iryna Hnyliakevych joined the filling baskets with Easter food.
In view of the coronavirus pandemic, this year military chaplains decided to reduce a number of meetings in order to not endanger people. At the same time, in order for people who protected Ukraine don't feel lonesome on the eve of the Easter, chaplains and volunteers have conveyed Easter baskets to veterans, who sustained being severe wounded during battles in the East of Ukraine, and have visited families of the perished warriors.
– We want that everyone knows that guys who were killed in battles against the russian invaders are not forgotten, and our warriors, who sustained wounds, are also not forgotten. We remember them and their families, chief of the 58th Officer's House Colonel Vitalii Provozin said.
Easter baskets were hermetically packed. Safety precautions were abiden by during the ceremony of blessing of Easter baskets.
